Speaking

April Dillow is an activist and speaker for suicide prevention and family support.
Bravely sharing her story as a family member affected by suicide at the annual High Desert Mental Health Summit, she has provided suicide awareness and identified support resources for hundreds of High Desert residents. April has shown how to gracefully cope with a family tragedy and use the experience to bring knowledge and purpose to her community.

I just really love seeing others saying “yes” to God and His plan for their life. Whether I’m sharing my story of God’s faithfulness through losing my brother to suicide, reminding women that their identity is rooted in Christ, or giving them permission to chase dreams, I’m really trying to be obedient to God’s calling on my life.

Sharing my story to remind others that they’re not alone in theirs is the best part of what I get to do. That’s community.
