“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks they should do so as one who speaks the very words of god. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 4:10-11
I’m an encourager and I enjoy chatting with you about what God is teaching me. Every day I’m learning and every day I’m reminding myself who I am in Christ. I’m a simple girl who speaks about hope in the midst of my own struggles. Whether I’m sharing my story of God’s faithfulness through the loss of my brother to suicide or sharing the process of creating jewelry, God is walking me through every part of it.
What I do over here isn’t done alone. I so dearly treasure community and I’ve learned so much about it the last couple years. Between my jewelry business and walking through grief, God has shown me a lot about what it means to be in community with others, asking for help, and not trying to carry burdens alone. Spoiler Alert: Life is way more fun with others walking with ya!
“A woman with a voice is by definition a strong woman. But the search to find that voice can be remarkably difficult.”
MAKER / WRITER / SPEAKER
When I made that first necklace years ago I had no idea what God had in store for me. He sure has surprised me!
From those first over edited Instagram pictures to professional photographers.
From making leather cuffs to a full jewelry line with different collections.
From my kitchen counter, to the dining room table, to the garage, to my own space in the house.
From doubting and questioning my gifts from God, to standing tall in them and thanking Him daily for the work He’s doing with them.
From never sharing *anything* personal to building community through vulnerability.
It has been such an amazing journey. Getting to meet you, hear your stories, and create for you will always be one of the greatest joys in my life.
Thanks for hanging around here with me.
