I had sappy words written about what we’ve learned in ten years. How we went from getting married because we made each other happy to learning how to root our marriage in Christ.

And that’s all true! But I want to say that after 10 years I don’t just love him-I like him. A whole lot.

I’m grateful every. single. day. That God saw it fit to bring us together.

I painted some stuff y’all.... . So, the last tw

I painted some stuff y’all....
.
So, the last two days I’ve been giving our master bedroom some attention! I couldn’t show ya on my stories because Joe would see it! 🤣 It’s kind of our thing now-he goes to work and I paint something or re-do something. He should be afraid to leave at this point lol!
.
I painted all our bedroom furniture and it really brightened up this space. I’ll throw some of the before pics up in my stories but it was all a dark dark wood.

20 spray paint cans later and this is what we got! My friend @emilyrose0619 came over to help and we got it done it two days💗
.
Okay I think I’m done with DIY projects for the week.🤣 I’ll wait for the next itch.

I don’t like DIY projects... . And yet I keep do

I don’t like DIY projects...

And yet I keep doing them!🤣 I’m a fan of the end result but in the middle of every project I’m really sorry I started because I have to actually finish!
.
It seems as though I’ve seen a lot of DIY projects happening during quarantine. Maybe it’s because we have “more time” or maybe it’s because we’re just bored and itching to change something🤷🏼‍♀️
.
Well, this week I got the itch and so we’ve been working on some projects. They take a little bit longer with the extra helping hands but it’s been fun to have them helping.
.
I’ll share more in my stories this week! Have you had the itch to tackle any projects?

I talked about mental health and it’s trickiness

I talked about mental health and it’s trickiness yesterday morning on my stories. Why I haven’t been as present, what I’ve been trying to do to keep my head clear, and the importance of not isolating (no matter how bad you want to)
.
So many of you feel the same way! So thanks for sharing and just reminding me I’m not alone 💗
.
The past couple days have been much better but I was thinking about what I could do now, while I feel good, to prepare for another emotional storm when it comes. I’m thinking a dinner plan would probably be beneficial 🤣 And I for sure need to tape up some scriptures on the wall.

What are you doing to keep your head clear? What helps you when you feel just yucky?

She wants to do what I do. Stamping is pretty hard

She wants to do what I do. Stamping is pretty hard when you’re eight so she does the best she can but I love her eagerness! I remember watching my mom craft as a kid and now Aislin watches me use my hands in my shop. I don’t think I knew how much I would love that.
.
No, sometimes I don’t stop to let her get in on the action but other times I do. And I get to see her joy. I get to see on her face what I see every time I create and it’s awesome!
.
Is there something your kids love to watch you do? Or did you watch your parents using their hands?

Monday mood??

Do you drag your feet on Monday’s or are you eager and ready to start the week? Or maybe quarantine messes with your head so while you used to be motivated by Monday’s now you’re dragging🤦🏼‍♀️

I’m a little in both camps. Yesterday I was excited about today’s “freshness” but when I woke this morning I kinda felt like my kiddos🤣 There’s still time to turn it around!
